Independent Citizens Movement

The Independent Citizens Movement (or Independent Citizens' Movement) is a conservative political party in the U.S. Virgin Islands that was founded by Virdin C. Brown around 1971–1975 [ [http://www.umsl.edu/services/govdocs/wofact92/wf930258.txt 1992 CIA World Factbook mentions the party and Brown as leader of it. He was a member of Virgin Islands legislature from 1971-1974 and then 1983-1992 ] ]

At the last elections, November 7, 2006, the party won four out of 15 seats.

From 1995 to 1997 Victor O. Frazer was Delegate from the U.S. Virgin Islands as the party's candidate, though he served as an independent in the House.
