Operation Nimbus Moon

Operation Nimbus Moon was the 1974 clearance of naval mines and unexploded ordnance from portions of the Suez Canal conducted by the United States and its allies[who?] following the Yom Kippur War between Egypt and Israel in 1973. The work was completed on 20 December 1974.
